TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Postpartum RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68124 About The
Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Postpartum
- Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Required for submission Certifications: BLS, NRP
Must-Have: Positive attitude and teamwork skills Job Description: -
This is a Mother/Baby (Couplet) assignment with occasional float to
Antepartum or to the house for sitter needs. - There will be no
labor responsibilities. - Unit consists of 36 beds with staff
ratios of 1 nurse to 3-4 couplets. - Common patient types include
adult/newborn and GYN surgicals. - A charge nurse is available each
shift. - Support from one certified nursing assistant (CNA) for the
36 rooms on the unit. - OB/Neonatologist available 24/7. - Shifts
are 12 hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with efforts to accommodate
schedule requests. - Requires working every third weekend. - Navy
scrubs are the standard dress code. - Orientation includes two
shifts specific to the unit. - Engage with various cultural groups
and provide inclusive care. - Success on this unit is supported by
resourcefulness and the ability to solve problems effectively. -
Requires adherence to a mileage radius rule outlined in the
policies. - Any requested time off must be submitted upfront and is
limited to seven days per contract period. Additional time off will
not be approved post-submission. - Utilizes the EPIC charting
system. - Trauma Level: 1 - Care setting is acute within the
