• Certification Details
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS (NRP & PALS preferred).
  • Job Details
  • 13-week contract length for a Respiratory Therapist position.
    • Job Requirements
    • ACLS, BLS, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Verification.
    • Experience in EKGs, bedside bronchs, and bedside spirometry.
    • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house 24/7.
    • Lead Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist on each shift.
    • Traveler will not be the only RT in-house.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts & Scheduling: 7-7 team scheduling.
      • Weekend Requirements: Days - every third; Nights - every other.
      • Holiday Requirements: Rotate with perm staff.
      • 3-12 hour shifts of unit/department specific orientation.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • RT Equipment Vents: Drager, Servo I, Carefusion (Heliox and NICU use only); Bipaps: Vision, V60, V30, Respironics S/T; High flow: Airvo2.
          • Additional Details
          • Types of patients include all - from neonates to geriatrics.
          • Coverage areas include Inpatient - all areas/floors.
          • RT Equipment details provided.
          • Floating Requirements: To different area throughout the hospital in the RT capacity.

          • Radius Rule: 50 miles and employment restrictions with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
          • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
