Job Description:

• ASAP - ongoing
• Cover 2 facilities --- Schedule
  • Primarily midshifts, 8 - 8.5 hour shifts --- Clinical Details
    • Routine ER duties; codes; ER locums don't have a lot of trauma responsibilities
    • Annual volume: 1st facility - IP ED Visits: 3,580 and OP ED Visits: 20,601; 2nd facility - IP Ed Visits: 842 and OP ED Visits: 12,368
    • Single or double coverage: 1st facility - single doc + APC, 2nd facility is single doc
    • Admits: 17-20%
    • ED responsible for codes
    • Supervise APPs
    • Easy transfer center process
    • Freestanding ED --- Requirements
      • Board Certified/Board Eligible (Emergency Medicine)
        • can consider BC FM (with minimum 10 years ED experience)
        • Active NE License - Highly Preferred
          • or willing to obtain
          • Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, & PALS
          • Clean Malpractice - Highly Preferred
          • Completion of an ACGME/AOA approved Emergency Medicine residency program
          • Experience: Actively practicing as an Emergency Medicine Physician for the last 12 months or completion of an Emergency Medicine Residency in the last 6 months --- Support Staff
            • Schedule for app's: 10a-8p, 2p-12a --- EMR
              • EPIC with Dragon
