• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and geriatrics, Stroke, SCI, Amputee, BI, critical illness, neurological disease-MS, Parkinsons, etc.

  • Hospital located in Eastern Nebraska is looking for multiple In Patient Rehab RN's.
  • This is an inpatient rehab with acute, post-acute, and neuro patients.
  • Ratios are 1:6, 35 bed.
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS required for all.
    • Charge RN on each shift
    • RN will float to MedSurg
    • Classroom orientation and 2- 12 hour shifts on the unit
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1900, 1830-0700
      • Weekend Requirement: At minimum every 3rd weekend
      • Holiday Requirement: At minimum 2 holidays
      • Self-scheduling and block scheduling available
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Beds: 35
        • Ratios: Days: 1:5 / Nights: 1:6
        • Attribute that will make a nurse successful on this unit include strong communication skills, highly organized, teamwork, innovative problem solving skills, compassion, inclusion, integrity, excellence, collaboration
          • Additional Details
          • RNs not required to titrate drips
          • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Antibiotics, anticoagulation, antiplatelets
          • Nurse aids/patient care techs on the unit with ratios of 1:10-15
          • Radius Rule: 50 miles
          • Candidates may not be full time, part time or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
          • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
